From Joyelle West Photography… April and Kevin are a very laid-back couple and wanted a wedding that was simple, casual, rustic and farmy. The wedding was on the smaller side (70 guests) and was held at the Overbrook House, a farm setting near Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The ceremony was under a big tree in the back of the house, and they had BBQ under a tent and dancing in a dance hall. The attire was J.Crew; the escort cards were made of packets of flower seeds; a friend designed the program, which they modeled after an old-fashioned pharmacy ad; and a family member made the cupcakes. Their dogs were also an integral part of the day, not only as ring bearers, but also as guests. :) All in all, their personalities showed through in a really simple, lovely and understated way.
