And today’s darling affair by Briana Moore Photography was definitely worth the wait… with a breathtaking Martha’s Vineyard setting, a fabulous tented reception and one uber-stunning bride and groom, this elegant backyard soiree has completely taken my breath away. From Briana Moore Photography… This was a gorgeous destination wedding on Martha’s Vineyard! Brendan’s family has spent a lot of time on the Vineyard, though he and Laurie currently live in Louisiana. They had guests from all over the country. I loved the bridesmaid dresses, all different styles in pewter, and every lady had some pop of orange on.
There was a lot that was special about this wedding. Laurie’s family is quite musical. Her father & sister sang during the ceremony, and Laurie surprised her new husband during the reception by joining the wedding band and singing Mercy (by Duffy) to Brendan in front of all of their friends & family. The band was AMAZING, I’m a total convert to wedding bands if they could all be this good.
The bride wore a family heirloom bracelet for jewelry, and a tiara (just as her mother did when she got married). This group danced more than any I have ever seen! By the end of the night, my face hurt from smiling. This wedding was so special.
