From Lauren Methia Photography… Eliza and Rob planned their Cape Cod nautical, yet classy wedding from Manhattan where they live. Eliza’s grandparents live in Brewster, MA making it an easy choice for Eliza who grew up visiting Cape Cod from the Boston area.

Given the couple live in NYC, my first meeting with them was on their big day. Just from speaking with Eliza on the phone I knew she was as sweet as she was in person! Their wedding was on the smaller scale of around 90 guests giving it a more intimate feel with close family and friends only present.

Eliza and Rob were a pleasure to work with – so easy going, relaxed and happy!  It was easy to see why they chose the type of wedding that they did – casual yet sophisticated. Some details that I love about their wedding – Eliza wore a vintage necklace that was worn by her mother, grandmother and I believe great-grandmother and their cake topper has been passed down several generations through all happily married couples!
