I have been charmed to no end by this delightful Holliston Wedding by Kate Preftakes Photography. Seriously. Charmed. In fact, I am so completely enamored with this entire affair, I’m not sure what I love more… The lovely blue and yellow color palette, the beyond gorgeous location, the fabulous bridesmaid dresses (I want one) or the men in paisley bow ties. And the too cute for words bride and groom, who found out post-engagement that they had actually known each other in preschool? ADORBS. If that doesn’t just warm every last space in your heart, I don’t know what will. See more of this lovely, lovely day here!

From Kate Preftakes Photography… Sarah and Patrick were married on a hot summer day in July at the Holliston Historical Society in Holliston, MA. The ceremony was a few doors down at St. Mary’s church. The details were enchanting, from the old window for the table settings (that they drove to Cape Cod to pick up the day before the wedding) to the jars and buckets of flowers everywhere. The groomsmen’s bow ties (and tying them) were a gift from the groom’s father. Sarah and Patrick dated for only about 6 months before they were engaged but found out later that they had been friends in preschool before there parent’s moved. Their mothers belonged to the same babysitting coop and watched each others’ children while they were infants. This was definitely one of those weddings that was filled with love and laughter from everyone who attended.

Gorgeous wedding photos!
Lovely wedding party, very well captured. Lots of detailed wedding photos.
each beautiful photograph highlights a special part of the wedding day and all together tells a beautiful story. Picture perfect!
Just Gorgeous!
I like the use of the old window!
To make the day even more special the honey that was given as wedding favors was from the groom's father's apiaries and the flowers from his mother's perrennial gardens and lovelingly arranged by his mom, aunts and family friends!
Kate was my photographer two years ago. She was SO personable, we still stay in touch, even though we live on separate sides of the country. She has a way of bringing out the sensitivity of the moment, and the bride's and groom's individual and joint style and personality. I'm so proud to see her work here. She really is incredible!
How charming and lovely.
Amazingly awesome as always!
SO happy to see this wonderful couple on smp!! Thank you for sharing! XO
Kate's inspired photographs make me want to get married all over again! She did a wonderful job of capturing the joy of the day.
Kate, these are simply beautiful. Your images are always so fresh, imaginative and fun!
Thanks so much Kate! You have such an incredible eye. You took our subtle emotions and little details and created magic! We are thrilled to have our most special day captured so perfectly. xoxo Sarah
Kate was our photograper last year. I always love looking at her photos. She truly makes your day memorable.
Kate's photographs are always amazing. She has a special way of telling the entire story by capturing the sweetest and most incredible details. I am always on her blog looking at all of the beautiful weddings she posts, they are all gorgeous and this wedding is no exception. I love it!
Beautifully captured details! I always look forward to looking at your blog!
Kate is an amazing photographer! She shot my summer 2010 wedding and I still look at the pictures unable to believe it is me in them. She made me so comfortable the entire day and captured even the smallest moments that were so special. Highly recommend! Just don't book her up TOO much so she can still have time to photograph my non-existent children some day! :)
Very nice pictures Kate! I always read you blog and enjoy your weddings!
