It’s never too early in the morning to be talking about wedding cakes, right? Okay, glad we’re on the same page because we’ve got three local and amazing cake makers to share with you and trust me when I say these babies are not only pretty, but delicious too! I don’t think I’m alone when I say that cake tasting has got to be THE best part of wedding planning. And even if you’re going the less traditional route and having cupcakes or multiple mini cakes, these talented cake makers have it all under control. Up first is Cakes for Occasions out of Danvers. These dessert masters craft beautiful nut-free cakes in custom flavors like dulche de leche and red velvet…Ummm, hello, delicious!

Oh, and then there’s the amazing Konditor Meister out of Braintree. Don’t let the name scare you, people; it’s German for pastry master and that’s just what these people are! And I say that from experience because I’m lucky enough to live right around the corner from these cake geniuses. Günther, the owner has been training since the young age of twelve, so you are guaranteed to get a delicious and gorgeous creation custom designed just how you want it.

Last but certainly not least is Delicious Desserts on the Cape. Pastry chef Lisa is the real deal. She’s won three medals from the Food Network Cake Challenge and has fun, whimsical flavors for you to try like chocolate chip cookie dough and peanut butter. And of course, she does the classics too! Her cakes are gorgeous creations and will make your guests drool just at the sight of them!

So there you have it, three amazing and local cake makers that will make sure your cake cutting ceremony or cupcake tower are truly things to be remembered! Happy cake tasting! xoxo

Love the black and white one with the bow in the middle. I'm assuming the linen to the left may have inspired the design. Very cool. Great cakes!
