Can we talk about how incredibly awesome this Boston soiree by Ashley O’Dell Photography is?  Because it. is. so. awesome.  And with a preppy chic meets modern vibe, a bouquet to end all bouquets (seriously), a gorgeous J.Crew gown and bridesmaids in the cutest wedges I have ever seen, it has completely blown my mind with its fabulousness.  Yes, I am 100% certifiably in love with all things this wedding.  And I guarantee you will be, too.  Join me in the gallery for all of the pretty!

From Ashley O’Dell Photography Meaghan used to plan events for Longwood events, so she knew exactly what she wanted, and didn’t want for her August 2010 wedding. She has also subscribed to wedding magazines since she was 10 years old! So needless to say, she had a lot of ideas. Meaghan and Ben’s ultimate goal was to have an amazingly fun party, rather than a formal black tie affair, and I think they achieved that with flying colors, hot pink to be specific! They included things like Rockband in one area of their reception, life-size cardboard cut out of themselves in their photo booth in another, and lighthearted foods like french fries, Cold Stone Creamy, donuts and clam chowder. Meaghan and Ben worked hard to personalize every aspect of their wedding, and had a blast doing it.

Where are the bridesmaid robes from? very cute!

  8. Meaghan says:

Funny, that's the question I always get asked - unfortunately, we found them at a TJ Maxx-like store (for $10 each!) They were Nautica, but I don't think are around anymore! :(

  9. Rebekah says:

Where are the maids dresses from? I am in LOVE with the seersucker!

  10. Erica says:

Where are the invitations from? I've been looking for stripes like those!

  11. Meaghan says:

Bsmaids dresses from Thread Bridesmaid - we got the knee version and then shortened (they also had a mini version, but I was nervous they would be TOO short). Loved them - and I guess my girls did too!

Invitations were from By Invitation Only (www.byinvitationonlyink.com), who I found on Etsy. SO great to work with her - weren't super expensive, totally customizable, etc. etc. She sent me samples of everything. I highly suggest (if she can deal with me and get my invitations perfect, she can deal with anyone!)

  12. Shannon says:

  18. Meaghan says:

I got it at a little boutique in South Dartmouth, but I know it's by a pretty well known designer that, of course, I can't think of at the moment! Sorry, so not helpful!

  19. Lauren says:

    Hi Meaghan,
Not sure if you'll get this message but I am hoping to find out how you got your nike's embroidered with just married? I think its such a cute idea but no one that I have found in my city is able to do it...
Any info you have would be helpful! Thank you!

  20. Meaghan says:

Lauren, we did them through Nike (http://nikeid.nike.com/nikeid/index.jsp ) - so easy to do!

  21. Whitney says:

Meaghan, I loved your wedding when I saw it! I'm getting married this fall at the Epicenter and so excited about it! We want a wedding that is completely "us" which is what seems like you did! Any helpful tips for planning at the Epicenter!? I'm not even sure you'll get this, but worth a try, thanks and great wedding!
