Vero Beach Hotel & Spa Wedding from Captured Photography by Jenny

If you ask me, jetting off to Florida with your nearest and dearest sounds like the perfect way to say “I Do” and for this well-traveled duo it was everything they imagined it would be (and MORE) with bundles of drop-gorgeous florals from Pink Pelican, a stunning seaside ceremony at the Vero Beach Hotel & Spa and an entire weekend to celebrate with their closest family and friends.  A three day extravaganza snapped up by Captured Photography by Jenny?  That’s a wedding we most definitely want to be at. Join us in the full gallery for a total swoon fest.

From the Bride… We both moved a lot growing up and have lived all around the country. We chose to have a destination wedding because traveling seemed to make sense for our big celebration. We wanted our friends and family to feel like they were on vacation — to enjoy a full weekend of sunny revelry and relaxation. Vero Beach is naturally beautiful and easy-going, and the Vero Beach Hotel is both luxurious and friendly. The style of the wedding was sleek and contemporary, and decorations were simple in order to augment the natural surroundings. The focus was good food, drink, music, friends and, of course, love.

Vero Beach Wedding at McKee Botanical Garden from Vitalic Photo

From Vitalic PhotoAnne and Attila’s wedding took place at one of Florida’s earliest tourist attractions, the McKee Botanical Garden. This unique jungle oasis has so much natural beauty and character that Anne’s subtle peach, navy and gray color scheme tied in perfectly. Also on the property is an old rustic wooden building known as the Hall of Giants, which is where the reception took place. Inside the first thing you notice is the amazing mahogany table, which was long enough to fit almost all of the wedding guests.

Vero Beach Wedding from Vitalic Photo

It’s Wedding Wednesday, lovelies – and you know what that means!  A morning, noon and night of uber-fabulous inspiration is coming your way, all thanks to SEVEN drop-dead gorgeous fêtes and one gallery after another of some downright pretty.  I’m talking glorious outdoor affairs, fab barn soirees and everything in between.  So, clear those calendars, cozy on up and let’s get this party started, shall we?

How’s this for the perfect start to our day of lovely?  A breathtaking Vero Beach affair boasting beautiful blooms from Thallo Floral Design, a to-die-for color palette (yellow and pink!) and two seriously adorable sweethearts that will warm your hearts from here to all eternity.  Sounds fabulous, no?  Well, if you can believe it, that’s just the beginning of this pretty party, because the gallery is chock-full of devastatingly gorgeous moments captured by the ever-amazing Vitalic Photo.  Join us there for more.

From Vitalic PhotoLindsay and Shaun were married May 19 at Orchid Island Beach Club in the most gorgeous setting. Not only are these two beautiful, but they are also kind, genuine and so very stylish. We walked into the suite where Lindsay was getting ready and squealed just a little when we saw all of her amazing accessories neatly organized on the bench at the foot of the bed. Shaun had to have been the cutest groom ever having been so involved in the planning process; his main goal was to make sure Lindsay was happy.  How adorable are their two Shih Tzu puppies decked out in their wedding day tutus? They were even present at the cocktail hour, scurrying around the guests’ feet near the reflecting pools. One of our favorite features of Orchid Island is all of the gorgeous, vine-covered walls and breezeways … we could have been busy taking photos there for days. Three words to describe Lindsay and Shaun’s wedding day: stylish, organic, soft.

From Sara + Ann of Thallo Floral Design… The bride carried a traditional, Euro-style nosegay featuring dusty pink garden roses, peonies in white and blush, viburnum, billy balls, limoncello spray roses and dusty miller. The bride and groom both had one attendant, Lindsey’s being her sister, who wore cream lace. She carried a nosegay similar in style, but with more vibrant shades of pink and yellow. Lindsey’s mother carried a petite nosegay. Mercury glass accents, provided by the bride and her mom, accompanied the florals and lent an old-world, rustic glow to the atmosphere. Orchid Island is beautifully appointed on its own, and these flowers were so pretty in that setting. The dinner tables were trimmed with mercury glass votives and lush centerpieces in pedestal glass compotes. To us, a pedestal glass vase has the same effect on flowers as the perfect high-heel has on one’s legs — it elongates! Tables were covered in custom, white hemstitch linens, our favorite for summer weddings. The place cards were perched atop wheatgrass flats with the club’s reflecting pool as backdrop. Inside the dining room, table numbers mimicked the place card set-up, perched in wheatgrass-filled mercury glass pots.

From Vitalic PhotoElizabeth and Eric are so adorable!  Their engagement session was the first time I met them, and I was so excited to see how amazing they were in front of the camera. Elizabeth expressed that she absolutely loved some of our sessions in our “secret field location,” so we of course had to use that as a spot, but since they are from Miami, we also chose to utilize the Gloria Estefan hotel here in Vero Beach where they were staying for the weekend. Her BCBG dress looked darling, and Eric’s blue shirt went perfectly with the soft green beach grasses and light-colored sand.  Here’s a bit about their engagement story!

From the Bride… It all started with an ice cube. Eric and I met during an ice breaker (literally) activity in our college public speaking course. We’re college sweethearts who still love cheering on our alma mater FIU (Go Panthers!). About five years after we first met in Professor Watson’s class, Eric popped the question.  Everyone expected Eric to propose on our Summer 2011 trip to Europe (and so did I) – false alarm. But later that year, he surprised me with a picturesque proposal in New York City’s Central Park. We must have walked the entire park before Eric found the perfect secluded spot to propose in (minus one eccentric gentleman photographing birds!).  I was shocked (although looking back now I realize there were so many signs). When he first asked, I said nothing. I just couldn’t believe it was finally happening. Although I had hoped for this day for quite some time, I was still caught completely by surprise – which is exactly what Eric wanted all along. It wasn’t until Eric pulled out my beautiful engagement ring (which he had duct-taped to the inside of this pocket) that I truly realized what was happening. Central Park was the perfect backdrop for Eric’s loving proposal, and I’ll never forget that day. Well wishes, champagne and anticipation filled the rest of our trip – we could not help feel excited that the best was yet to come.

Vero Beach Wedding from Sarah Bray Photography

Modern has found a happy companion in this beach-side fête captured by Sarah Bray Photography and it’s a mash-up of two of our favorites. White and Gold. You can’t go wrong with that combo especially when it’s paired with pretty ocean views and a casual elegance that finds a happy home in wedding gowns and gilded sandals. We adore that combo too. See every last pretty picture right here.

From Sarah Bray PhotographyI had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth a few times prior to her wedding.  She definitely embodies what I would consider the modern bride — gorgeous, successful, and confident with an easygoing, positive attitude. When I arrived at the private residence where their wedding ceremony and reception were being held, I found Elizabeth and her bridesmaids, clad in adorable, monogrammed button-down shirts, all a-flutter with excitement and anticipation. Elizabeth wore a simple and beautiful J.Crew dress with gold Tory Burch flats and emerald tear-drop earrings. Sandy hues of linen and white were seen in the bridesmaids dresses, flowers and the groomsmen’s suits and ties. Before the ceremony, Adam and Elizabeth chose to do a first look, which was so sweet! After a few happy tears, they exchanged wedding gifts — a boudoir album for him and a beach cruiser bike for her! We also did all family and bridal party portraits before the ceremony. The shot of the groomsmen pulling the groom away was a special request from the bride — her mother had the same shot taken at her wedding! I would describe the overall vibe of their wedding as modern, elegant and sophisticated. They kept the simple color palette mostly neutral and monochromatic to complement, but not distract from, the natural beauty of the beach. They also had a few tasteful seaside touches — the cake was adorned with fondant sea grass and the guest table was decorated with a seashell card-holder and canvases from the couple’s beach-y engagement shoot.

Even though stormy skies threatened to move their ceremony indoors, Elizabeth’s smile never left her face and was met with a huge grin from her groom as she made her way down the aisle to meet him. The rain held off and resulted in some gorgeous, dramatic skies and colors.  We were thankfully able to capture some amazing sunset shots of the bride and groom before heading back to the villa for a champagne toast with their family and bridal party. One of the best parts of their venue was that they were able to spend the whole weekend there with their bridal party to relax and enjoy the beach before and after the wedding! Adam and Elizabeth were an absolute dream couple to work with, and their breezy, beachy wedding was one of my favorites!

Vero Beach Hotel & Spa Wedding by Andi Mans Photography

Your Wednesday morning is about to get a whole lot prettier thanks to this gorgeous Vero Beach wedding sent into us by the oh-so-lovely and talented Andi Mans Photography! Filled to the brim with bright pops of green and purple, (to match the gorgeous stained glass windows) this wedding is all about simple touches that go a long way. And we’re all about those! Click here for even more!

From Andi Mans PhotographyI was very honored to play a role in Talyn and Joe’s wedding! I had such a good time with them when I shot their engagement session here in Orlando last year and was super excited to capture the big day in Vero Beach. The day started out pretty rainy and stayed that way! Talyn was the most easy-going and beautiful bride about it and kept on joking through out the day, “Andi, did you stop the wind and rain outside”? Haha, I wish!! We had planned on having the ceremony outdoors near the water, but Mother Nature had other ideas so we ended up moving the ceremony inside. I love small intimate weddings — they have such a sense of personal emotion. Even though the weather wasn’t as perfect as we all had hoped for, it didn’t stop me from capturing these two love birds on their fabulous wedding day at the gorgeous Vero Beach Hotel & Spa. Congratulations you two! By the way … how amazing is the bridal bouquet? Talyn creates them!
