Spain Inspired Engagement shoot from Shea Christine

Wow. That’s literally the only word I could actually mutter when I came across this stunning session from Shea Christine Photography. Just wow. It’s absolute perfection from start to finish (and don’t even get me started on her hair, so gorgeous), and it’s all waiting for you right here.

From Shea ChristineAshley and Adrian’s engagement session took place on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach. A place rich with history and inspiration. Their outfits were lovely and they sparked with happiness.

From the Bride… Adrian and I were raised in Miami, with many mutual friends and knowing many of the same people. We always missed meeting each other and didn’t even know it until after we were already together. But you don’t force magnets together, you just put them relatively close and it just works. That’s all it took. To get us in the same room together for the first time and the bond was formed instantly, without either of us knowing. We were linked together. We had no choice. It’s science.

Fast forward four years later, we’re on a mountain top in Barcelona overlooking the beautiful Park Güell and Adrian asked me to spend the rest of my life with him and it was the greatest surprise I could ever dream of! (How he managed to keep the ring a secret for the week we had already spent in Spain, I have no idea) We’re getting married in February and are extremely excited.

Whimsical DIY Wedding from Starfish Studios

I know I don’t need to tell you just how much we adore DIY weddings here at SMP, but this darling backyard affair from Starfish Studios most definitely makes it worth repeating.  A whimsical meets stunning seaside celebration, every last detail you see is a true labor of love by the seriously sweet (+ seriously crafty) bride and groom, plus friends and family.  From the perfectly imperfect florals to the fab paper goods to those crazy cool yarn balls dotting the ceremony, it’s DIY perfection from start to finish. See it all in the full gallery.

From Starfish StudiosThe entire wedding party had a hand in creating the details for this stylish seaside wedding. The groom designed the invitations. He also designed other paper goods including tags on their favors which were filled with coffee beans and named “Wedding Blend” in honor of their special day. The bride and bridesmaids arranged the florals that filled the vintage bottles that decorated the reception tables. The Maid of Honor created the DIY yarn balls hanging by the ceremony spot. This wedding was a labor of love and it really shows.

Delray Beach Wedding from Becca Borge Photography and Sugar(ed) Occasions

What should be your first step when planning a destination dream wedding? Hire a dream team of vendors. Which is precisely what this couple did, and the result? A day chock-full of gorgeous details with a style that is beautifully timeless. Those moments were planned to perfection thanks to Sugar(ed) Occasions, and we get to enjoy every last one thanks to the sweet images snapped up by Becca Borge Photography. Which you can do right here.

From Becca Borge Photography… An awesome team of vendors and a classy couple created an intimate affair defined by genuine moments, a unique setting, and lots of pretty details! Miranda with Sugared Occasions made sure everything ran smoothly and created a completely romantic atmosphere with soft, white florals, endless candlelight, and personal touches representing the couple.  I love the ‘winery-on-the-ocean’ feel, as the groom is from across the sea (England)…and the bride is a “Vino Vixen” from California. :) The wedding was a complete destination wedding with all guests coming from out of state and some overseas. The other vendors that made this day special were Parkland Chef Catering, Unearthed Vintage, Atlas Rentals, and Steel Band Culture.
