From the beautiful Bride… Since the age of 15, I have looked through wedding magazine after wedding magazine trying to imagine to what my perfect day would consist of. I have always dreamed about having a fairytale wedding. I wanted to have a wedding that was soft, classic, and romantic. I used several resources for inspiration such as pintrest, wedding magazines, and past wedding albums from previous weddings. I created a collage of colors, flowers, themes, and then present this to my wedding planner Kerri Hatter of LVL Event who then guided me in a direction that could fulfill this vision. I owe my gratitude to my wedding planner, and florist/designer Larrissa Rehder for carrying out my vision and dream of my perfect fairytale wedding. My favorite memories of the day were, the ceremony, walking down the aisle and seeing my husband for the first time! And the ambiance and decor topped off the evening, it was truly a dream come true.
The biggest piece of advice that I would offer to current brides is not to stress about the small things and to ASK FOR HELP! For me I wanted the day to go perfect and I felt I had to do everything on my own which resulted in a melt down! and The realization that I had a team and family members that I trusted and were there to help with the process and create the perfect day for me.

From Ashlee Raubach… Romantic, casual elegance, beautiful blooms, pastels, heart warming and sweet describes the wedding of Riley and Logan. Riley’s sister, Morgan Smith of the popular “Smith, Here!” lifestyle blog and of the reality show “MTV’s Laguna Beach” planned and coordinated her sister’s wedding. The theme was all about love blooming, family and friendships. Bistro lights strung across the patio of the OC Sailing Events Center nestled between the sailboats docked and the bay beach.
Gold vases, with peach, pink, and white flowers adorn tables with green leafy garlands and a moss “G” above the head table. Initials of the couple were created by Morgans husband Joel Smith. The light bulbs lit up softly in the background of the dance floor as the couple had their first dance. Family and friends also pitched in to create this beautiful, intimate celebration of love, marriage and happiness.

Oh my goodness, is this wedding awesome. It’s romance meets tradition meets pretty pink hues, and it’s all set against the stunning setting known as St. Regis Monarch Beach. Basically, it’s the sort of stop you in your tracks affair we’ve come to expect from all of you California bride and grooms… AND the perfect way to spend a Monday. See it all captured by onelove Photography right here.
From onelove photography… The bride had a love of lace and luxury. Wanting to include the romantic touches of a rustic wedding at a resort setting, and working with the talent at Sky Events and Productions to transform her reception into a wonderland of pinks and whites at the St. Regis Monarch Beach.

When classic black tie marries al fresco beach casual the result is nothing short of magical. The juxtaposition of the traditional with the outdoor sunny locale in this wedding is everything I needed today and then some. A great big thanks to Allyson Magda Photography and the beautiful, dog loving couple for sharing the day with us!
From the beautiful bride… My husband and I grew up 15 minutes apart from each other in Southern California, but did not meet until we both attended college in New England. When it came time to plan the wedding, we knew we had to return to our roots and hold the wedding close to our family and friends. Luckily, we fell in love with the first venue we visited – The St. Regis – a beautiful spot by the ocean with a small botanical garden in which to hold the ceremony.
The St. Regis drove much of the detail planning. We wanted to keep things simple, yet match the understated elegance of our ceremony and reception sites. It was important to keep the day low-stress and make sure all of our guests had fun. While we had some ideas about the color scheme and decorations, we knew that we had selected a dream team of vendors (led by the wonderful Agape Planning) to help bring our vision to life. For example, we were able to show our love for dogs by having an animal shelter bring in some darling dogs to join our cocktail hour. We were fortunate to book the very talented Allyson Magda to capture the festivities. Looking through the photos brings a smile to my face every time! We can’t thank our vendors enough for all the hard work they put into making our wedding day a success. They were so fun and easy to work with – I trusted them completely, which gave us more time and energy to spend with our guests!

Let’s talk about fun duos for a minute, shall we? Because these darling Monarch Beach sweeties really know how to have a good time. Like a fist pump at the altar, smile in every last photo, dance the night away good time. They are in love… and it takes just one glance at their tradition-filled Dana Point glam-fest to know it. On hand to capture all the happy? Goddard Studios Photography, who snapped up those gorgeous florals from Square Root Design and every last second planned to perfection by Maria Lindsay Weddings. From Goddard Studios Photography… Anthony has had a successful business in Orange County, California for many years. Ginny came to work for Anthony about seven years ago, and this is how they fell in love. Together for a long time, and even having a six year old boy together already, they finally decided to get married. Since they had waited so long, they wanted to make sure they made this the perfect day. They hired Maria Lindsay to be their planner, chose the St. Regis as their venue and Square Root as their flower and design vendor. For their flowers they loved a clean contemporary style and they loved the St. Regis because it had a Great Ocean View and the mix of Mediterranean contemporary they were looking for.
Ginny’s dress, most beautiful- made by (of course) Vera Wang! Before the “first sight”, Anthony showered Ginny with gifts. Several pieces of jewelry, all from Tiffany.
It was such a pleasure to shoot Ginny and Anthony’s wedding. They were fun people, which you can tell from looking at the pictures. Everything starting out “serious” (like for example the posed family/bridal party shots), ended up in laughter and joking around. Great to see a couple, who’ve already been together for quite some years, be this in love and so wonderful for one another.
