How do you top one of the best proposals ever? (Seriously, read below.) You throw a stunning classic affair in the heart of Carlsbad, complete with a confetti send-off post-nuptials. Add to all of that fanfare a long list of talented vendors and a ballroom decked out in head to toe pink and gold and what you have is one very pretty Saturday. See it all captured by the brilliant Ether & Smith in THE VAULT.
From the Bride… Our Wedding Proposal… It was just a day before my birthday and Richard surprised me with a trip to Paris by giving me an Eiffel Tower lego set. He knew Paris had been the one place I’ve dreamed of visiting since I was a kid. Already excited about the news to Paris, we celebrated by putting the lego pieces together. After two hours and 320 lego pieces, we were down to one piece. He said he remembered leaving the last piece on the bookshelf. So I walked over to the bookshelf and to my surprise I found more than just a lego piece, but my engagement ring cradled in the hands of a lego mini figure! As I turned around Richard was behind me on one knee. Before he could even ask I said “Yes!”
Our advice for future wedding couples is don’t get caught on the small things. Enjoy the day and cherish every moment and focus on making memories because it goes by so fast. We also advice choosing your location and venue first because it will really influence your wedding style. Pinterest is a great source for wedding inspiration and ideas.
