From the Bride… We initially met in a study group in college and quickly became good friends. The following summer, we started officially dating and spent the next few years living apart as I was in New York City and he was in Boston. A few years later we decided to move together to San Francisco. As for the proposal, it was a warm night (a rarity in San Francisco!), so Adam suggested we take a bottle of wine and head to Crissy Field, one of our favorite places right next to the Golden Gate Bridge. Next thing I know, we had barely crossed the parking lot and onto the grass, and he’s down on one knee. With an audience of bikers, runners, and surfers passing by, we were engaged!
The Menlo Circus Club has a special place in my heart because my grandparents had been going there since the 1960s. Growing up, I used to take riding lessons there and my grandfather would come to watch me. Afterward, we would meet for milk shakes in the “Side Show” or snack bar portion of the club. Having had so many wonderful memories at the Circus Club, when my mom suggested it as a possible venue I immediately knew this was it! Adam and I both loved the wide open space of the polo field for our ceremony and then bringing the guests inside the clubhouse for an elegant seated dinner and dancing all night. We chose green, pink, and gold shades to highlight the day; with our beautiful bridesmaids in Kelly green. Surrounded by our family and friends, this was the best day of our lives and we will cherish it always.

From The Bride…Our families have known each other for about 10 years. We were officially introduced (reconnected) as adults at a Christmas Eve church service in our home town of Los Altos. We have been inseparable ever since. Kyle proposed on a family vacation in Hawaii the week right after Christmas. we went on a date night, walked down to the beach to watch the sunset, and Kyle popped the question underneath a palm tree right as the sun was going down! With the help of Lara our wedding coordinator/planner, we selected the colors; gold, white, cream elegant, formal flowers- white hydrangeas, white roses to decorate our special day.
From Coco Tran…Anna & Kyle had a gorgeous black tie optional wedding . During their ceremony they both received communion as part of a special ceremony. Such a gorgeous classic wedding filled with so much laughter, love, and celebration.

From the bride… Our wedding day was the perfect blend of family and friends, from my mom’s help with decorating and writing all the escort cards to my bridesmaid’s sweet gift of creating the soap favors. Besides the support of our friends and family, our vendors truly made our day special. All of the vendors executed our vision perfectly, from the location of the first look to the flowers to the cake and cake pops design. Because of them, we were able to eat, drink, dance to our hearts’ content.
From the groom… When we were planning our wedding, my wife wanted a romantic, fairy-tale wedding, so she chose pink as one of our colors. I, on the other hand, wanted a relaxing and fun atmosphere where we could party with everyone, so I chose gray for our second color. Looking back, the rosy pinks and the light gray created the perfect atmosphere for our wedding at the Menlo Circus Club. Exchanging vows under the giant oak tree was surreal, especially with lanterns filled with flower petals hanging from the branches. After the ceremony, our guests were greeted with our specialty cocktail and we also enjoyed a few with them. Upon entering the main room, everyone remarked at the lighting and details – it created the perfect atmosphere to celebrate our marriage. Most importantly, there was a large dance floor, a dessert bar, an open bar and all of our closest friends and family in one place. This was the recipe for a perfect wedding celebration.
