Soft + Romantic Colony House Boudoir Session

I love weddings inside and out, every moment, detail, smile and scene. But the images that always seem to turn on the swoon-factor the most? Those would be the getting ready moments—when the air is full of anticipation. Those moments result in the prettiest of portraits, like these from Krista Mason. A Bride fancied up by Kacee Geoffroy, with her foraged bouquet crafted by Krista Jon, leaving a whole gallery of gorgeous to peruse.

From Krista Mason PhotographyThis is a beautiful lace robe that is perfect for the bride that is getting ready for her wedding day. She has her hair and makeup completely done and is ready to put on her gown! The inspiration for this look was for the bride to be to feel beautiful and excited for the day to come! Robe from Styled By TC.

Take the happiest place on earth and pair it with an adorable duo who also happen to be one seriously stylish twosome and this is what you get: pure, unadulterated loveliness.  Think a Tory Burch designer (she soooo is) and her dapper groom-to-be rockin’ some crazy gorgeous attire while frolicking around Disney.  It’s beyond awesome, lovelies.  See it all captured by onelove photography right here.

From onelove photography… Bora, a designer for Tory Burch in New York, brought all her fashion with her fiance Will to Disneyland for a playful, fashion-forward shoot!

Beautiful Al Fresco Wedding in Anaheim

Taking a vow to love and support someone until the very end is a beautiful thing to promise. This wedding, photographed (appropriately) by Love Is A Big Deal, embraces that gravity with open arms. The Anaheim Hills provide a dramatic backdrop for a day surrounded by friends, family, and let’s not forget the love. Rich red and blue hues also do a lot to warm the heart. You can find more images here.

From the Bride… Throughout the wedding planning process it was important to both of us to have our community in mind. Since they have helped shape and cultivate our relationship, we wanted the core of our wedding to be not just our story, but the bigger story of all of us journeying through life together. We couldn’t wait to make a covenant to each other, and wanted to make sure our friends and families knew they have a role to play in that. Some memorable moments we had included Louie’s dad marrying us, which was an extreme privilege to have the man that raised and loved Louie his whole life up there blessing our marriage. We also had Laurie (Louie’s mom) do all of the incredible flower arrangements, decorations, and an endless list of behind the scenes magic-making. Michiko’s mom and other friends did the baking, and had countless friends helping out on the actual wedding day.

As we look back on that day, it’s hard not to feel overwhelmed with feeling truly celebrated and loved. Not a moment went by where we didn’t feel the tremendous joy our community has had for us all along. We were blown away by the amount of people that came up to us genuinely happy, and shared with us how special it was to be there and that they could not be happier to celebrate us. Since we like to get crazy, we were pumped that Meg and Josh (who we could not have been happier with) were feeling the call of wild as well. They brought us some animal masks to wear during the dancing… let’s just say it turned things waaay up and solidified their status in our minds as truly heroic human beings. The entire night could not have been more fun, spontaneous, and full of joy and love. And the best part about it all was sharing it together.

Rustic Private Estate Wedding

The list of magical moments happening in this wedding is abundant.  Think the planning expertise of LVL Weddings & Events with a whole lot of awesome (an awe-inspiring ceremony at Oak Canyon Nature Center + a drop-dead gorgeous tented reception in a private residence oasis) thrown in for good measure.  Ahh… perfection.  See it all captured by Mason & Megan Photography right here.

From LVL Weddings & Events… This wedding was a blast and gorgeous from beginning to end. Noelle and Drew have such cute styles that truly reflect their vibrant & dapper personalities. Their deep love for each other & good looks almost make me think of a modern day Jack and Rose, with a happy ending of course! Their wedding had so many cute elements from a blindfolded first look to a flash mob first dance to a s’mores station. Their clear tent reception with bistro lighting and vintage decorations tied in together so beautifully. The evening ended with lots of dancing, bridesmaids jumping in pools, and a grand sparkler exit as the couple waved farewell to their loved ones in their getaway classic car.

From the Bride… We met in high school and started dating when we were 16! He asked me out with a scavenger hunt that eventually led to him, with a cake that he had baked saying, “Let’s be official”. Exactly seven years later he led me on another scavenger hunt, with seven different stops that eventually led to him, on one knee, with a beautiful ring! Couldn’t have planned it better myself.

Our wedding was just dreamy… it was simple and rustic, and everything was just beautiful.  We had started with a board on Pinterest, so I had some ideas of what I liked. But other than that, Drew and I just wanted to have an awesome party with our friends and family that was a memorable event!

The whole day was an amazing blur, but there were a couple really special moments that will forever stick out in my mind: the first is, of course, walking down the aisle. Seeing Drew with his big smile, the venue decked out in gorgeous flowers, and walking down the aisle, seeing all of my friends with big smiles… it was really special. Number two would be reading our vows. Drew and I both wrote our own.  He wrote his really early on and some of our close friends who had heard them said they were really beautiful, so I felt a bit of pressure to make mine good! I knew what I wanted to say but, I didn’t have my final draft until the night before. When I read my vows to Drew, he got a little choked up, so I felt like I had made my point! Number three, was my flashmob! I’m a dancer, so I had to incorporate it somewhere. When Drew and I came out for our first dance at the reception, we started with a nice, romantic slow dance, but then it busted out into some James Brown, and our wedding party slowly came out to join us in a choreographed routine. It was great to see everyone’s surprised faces – it was my dream come true!

My advice to brides?  Just enjoy the process! It will fly by, and you won’t even know how it happened! I think it was worth every penny to have LVL as our wedding coordinator. It helped my family’s sanity through the whole wedding planning process to have someone keeping us on track, being organized, making recommendations, and keeping in touch with all of our vendors. Every bride should have someone, whether it’s a full on wedding planner, day-of coordinator, or even an organized friend, to keep them moving forward. It will save much confusion, and many headaches!
