From Katie Nicolle Photography… This engagement session was a mix of beautifully styled outfits, dreamy golden light and those stunning fall colours. Oh and not to mention – a gorgeous couple as well. Kelly and Stefan are absolutely head over heels for each other which made my job a whole lot easier. We had so much fun exploring Bronte Creek Park and finding hidden little gems to shoot in. They will be getting married at the Hamilton waterfront next year and I cannot wait to see these two lovebirds tie the knot.

You know what I sort of love more than anything? When crazy cool whimsical details join forces with a drop-dead gorgeous barn setting. That’s the kind of wedding that totally makes my heart sing, and when those crazy cool details happen to include fun paper pinwheels, a DIY cake (made by the Father of the Bride!) and soft pink hues, well… call me one happy lady. Oh, and an entire gallery of lovely captured by Brian Limoyo Photography… Amazing. Join me there for all of the pretty.

From Brian Limoyo Photography… When I first met Emily and Tristan, I knew their wedding day was going to be special. They are so madly and hopelessly in love, it could make Greenland melt. What really struck me was how they both exuded a quiet cool elegance, but were still so friendly, warm and approachable. Their wedding day was no different as can be seen by the pictures. A beautiful day brimming with personal DIY details, and classic fashions. From the romantic outdoor ceremony, to the vintage barn burner of a reception party.

As a self proclaimed book nerd and ocean lover, I’m totally obsessed with this adorable couple’s e-session by When He Found Her Wedding Photography. They took my two favorite things, okay, maybe three when you count the fall foliage, and wrapped them up into one fabulous photo session. You can literally feel the cozy love between these two as they lounge around with books, frolick through the leaves, and stare off into the sea. I think I love them. Click here for more.

From the Bride-to-Be… For our November engagement shoot, my fiance, Josh, and I chose to venture to the historic waterfront area of Oakville, Ontario, where I grew up. The changing colours of the leaves made such a brilliant backdrop along with the old buildings. One of our favourite ways to spend time throughout our relationship has been to read aloud together, and we were excited to incorporate that aspect of who we are as a couple into our shoot. Our amazing photographer, Reid Lambshead, was so excited to help bring our vision to life. Amongst many others, I have read the entire Harry Potter series aloud to Josh, so we definitely wanted to use one of the novels as our main book — some would say that’s dorky, but it’s so us! For the books we used, some were already on our shelves and some we found at a used book sale — I love the look of the old cloth covers. We had such a wonderful time on the day of the shoot, and Reid truly captured how much fun we have together and the joy we feel looking forward to our upcoming wedding. Every time I look at these photos, I have a huge smile on my face, and I’m so excited to marry the love of my life this coming September!
