Butternut Squash & Apple Soup with Homemade Croutons

There is no better way to start a meal than with a warm, cozy bowl of soup.  This year I took the classic butternut squash soup and kicked it up a notch by adding granny smith apples, homemade croutons, and sage leaves.  All easy additions that will have your guests asking for seconds, and possibly even thirds. For more goodies, head on over to my blog, Waiting on Martha! Photography: ...

Chilled Fresh Pea Soup

I don't know about you, but I'm always on the hunt for appetizers that are not only easy to whip up, but look lovely to boot (I'm all about the pretty my dears!) I'm thinking that Wiley Valentine's guest and fellow foodie Reenie's farmers market inspired recipe for chilled fresh pea soup is just the ticket. It's bold, it's colourful, and I'm confident it would be a sure crowd pleaser. Photography: ...

He does this for health reason and actively tries to push that 80% closer to 100%. Anyway, finding quick easy meals for both ends of the spectrum is always a challenge...

The tried and true babies that are just too good to keep to ourselves. Recipes like this roasted tomato soup, which is so simple and delicious that it really need not any additional flourishment, adornment or anything of the sort. It simply  tastes like...

Ham & Cranberry Sandwiches with Pumpkin Soup

I am a soup and sandwich junkie. Grilled Cheese and Tomato being at the very top of my list. But after I saw this next little number, I thought that my childhood fave just might be getting a run for its money. Plus, it's insanely simple which means that you can actually make this with easy to find ingredients and enjoy it on a daily (and I mean daily) basis.

Italian Stew with Cannellini Beans + Kale

I have this newfound romance that you should all know about. Kale. The leafy green goodness that although I was scared of for nearly three decades, has turned out to be one of the great loves of my life. So when Kristi from Saucy Pants sent this little number in, well, I knew heaven was sent. From Kristi...There is nothing that makes me think of fall more than a bowl of hot stew! Once the leaves start falling off, the cravings...
