Isles Interiors is a full service interior design studio and shop located in Newport Beach, CA. We create custom residential interiors that are carefully curated to reflect the personalities and visions of our clients. We source from local artisans to support our community as well as travel the world for one-of-a-kind pieces. Husband and wife team Max and Maria Isles combine their talents to create inspiring and thoughtful interiors that reflect the personalities and visions of their clients. Their philosophy is a home should be well designed, well loved and well lived in. The combination of a relaxed atmosphere with an understated and timeless yet modern aesthetic sets the tone for their design sensibility. “Whenever a client walks through the door they say they love our shop and would like to live in it! This is the best compliment! We love to create interiors that tell the stories of our clients through our carefully curated and collected designs and we feel our shop stands as a reflection of our own story”, says owner and designer Maria Isles. Maria Isles was born and raised in Los Angeles and has a degree in interior design from Interior Designers Institute and an MBA from Pepperdine University. Having lived in Pasadena, Santa Barbara, Laguna Beach and Singapore and travelling back to Europe and England every year, Maria gets her inspiration from her travels as well as her roots.

Max Isles originally from England has a dual degree in Economics and Environmental Science and was trained in woodworking and furniture design at Palomar College. Max is a true craftsman and his attention to perfection and detail rivals his clever English wit and charm. Maria and Max live with their teen-age son, Brandon and their dog, Izzy in their eco-friendly cottage in Laguna Beach.
