A Classic Home Tour Full of Gorgeous Pattern
With black and white floral wallpaper, little pops of color and pattern and a hanging ratan chair in the sunroom perfect for lounging, this house is one for the inspiration folder.
I am all for pattern and color but often struggle with finding a way to make it seem cohesive and elegant. This home designed by Banner Day is a lesson in all of the above. From the moment you step through that high gloss black door, you're met with stunning wallpaper, beautiful pops of color and pattern and insanely good lighting. And you best believe I'm tucking that sun room in my "Must Have Someday" folder. Tour the full space captured by Colin Price right here.
Well situated amongst the leafy lanes of Burlingame, sits a picturesque house on a lovely corner. Complete with a white picket fence, this house overflows in charm with all the details that matter, coved ceilings, arched doorways, and original hardware.
Using just a bit of effort, we transformed this house into a home. When husband and wife have different ideas of how to furnish a home it can be a challenge or an opportunity to introduce and implement new ideas.
Although the clients both loved the traditional aesthetic there were strong opinions on both sides regarding certain aspects of each room. We found compromise and collaboration, resulting in a stunning home.
