From bridal shower to just because I love my friends, this party is the perfect reason to celebrate Valentine’s Day. And if heart balloons and a flower wall are involved, well that’s just the cherry on top. Crafted by Lindsey M. Events along with florals by Apotheca and photographs by Lindsay Hackney, this shower turned Galentine’s soiree will get you in the mood to celebrate come February 14.
From the planner, Lindsey M. Events… I have always dreamed of planning an ultra feminine and bright bridal shower photo shoot, and what better occasion than Valentine’s Day for a party with your best friends? After stumbling upon Trade, a restaurant in the heart of Boston’s Atlantic Wharf, I knew it would be in the perfect backdrop. As a planner and designer I live for contrast, and in this instance placing pink and girly elements against Trade’s industrial backdrop was exactly the contrast I needed. I like to call our color palette here “Go Bright or Go Home.” Metallic heart balloons and neon pink palm tree napkins are paired with yellow stripes and a whitewash floral wall. We embraced all things pink and girly for our bride-to-be and played with texture and pattern to create something fresh and energetic. With an all-star cast of vendors, our shoot came to life with more color and spunk than I ever could have dreamed!
