We recently professed our love for Southwest inspired interiors and i think the universe heard our declarations because this California home landed in our laps and it is ripe with those south by west touches we love so much. But maybe even more importantly, it has a two tone tuxedo kitchen! Eek! And the whole thing is all airy and modern with a decidedly boho twist photographed by Daphne Mae. From Lauren (the home owner)... By mixing modern pieces with bohemian elements, I aimed to create a comfortable yet inviting space for my family to call home. I incorporated bold patterns, and pops of color into a bright and airy space to achieve a design that is cool and clean while still reflecting my individual style.

From the photographer... I've known Lauren for the past 4 years, and she just exudes this ultra cool California style; her home being no exception. I love the clean space mixed with modern metallics and a bohemian edge. Greenery throughout adds an earthy feel, while the geometric patterns and mud cloth juxtapose beautifully.
