A Refreshing Aperol Spritz to Say So Long to Summer
September 7, 2015

I'm going to continue pretending it's summer for as long as possible, because it really doesn't get much better than sitting outside in the warm summer air with a delicious drink in hand and surrounded by great friends. My trick to eternal summer (or at least faking it)? This breezy Aperol Spritz from Waiting on Martha. So, this Labor Day, join me in denial as I sip on summer in a cup.

From Mandy Kellogg Rye of Waiting on Martha… Just as vibrant in taste as appearance, this Aperol Italian Spritz recipe is considered the perfect summertime sip; it's light and refreshing, while it marries crisp notes of citrus and herbs. The alcohol content is typically lower in this cocktail, making it a great option for all to toast these last warm nights as summer slips away.
