This little spot is where preppy accents and peonies mingle; where storage is bountiful, the bar cart is stocked to the gills and fab reading material is at the ready. It's also where Lacoya, the wedding and event planner behind Hello Love Events, works her magic. She called upon Kathleen Mapson to craft a home office with style for miles. Have a look at the full tour captured by Andrea Pesce right here!

From the Designer, Kathleen ... The inspiration for the space was based on a few key words Lacoya mentioned to me during our first conversation – Timeless, Contemporary, Clean, and Organized – and let’s not forget her love of Kate Spade. With all that in mind, I knew her office had to have an overall classic feel, while remaining fresh, airy, and bright. Warmth would be added by using smooth textures and touches of her favorite colors, navy and blush pink/coral. She also loves all things sparkly. So adding hints of gold throughout the room would add some shine and polish the space off nicely. I am in love with her space and I know she is too!

From Lacoya ... As the owner of Hello Love Events, a wedding planning & design company based in Northern Virginia I wanted a home office that was both functional, inspiring, reflected my brand and where I could welcome clients. I had been working off of my living room couch prior, which offered neither function, inspiration nor a place to meet with brides. Now that it is complete, I honestly have no clue how I operated a business without this space (especially all that storage)!
