Just a few weeks ago, we learned the magic a simple throw-pillow swap can have on our living rooms. But now, we're taking this simple project up a notch, with this no-sew version! Yes m'dears, now you can fulfill your craving to redecorate without even taking out that old sewing machine! Take a peek at the video below to learn how to make you're own throw pillow covers in no time at all!
- Yard stick
- Iron-on fabric tape
Measure your piece of fabric so that it is the exact width of your pillow insert, and double + 12" the length of the pillow. Use pins to mark the measurements, and cut.
On the short sides of your fabric, fold over each edge and press with the iron to keep in place.
Making sure the printed side of your fabric is face up, pverla the ends by folding them over each other. Once folded, your fabric should be the exact width of your pillow.
Measure and cut the fabric tape to fit your seam, and carefully place it inside the seam. Apply heat according to the directions on the package. Repeat on the other side.
Secure both sides of the pillow flap with tape and apply heat.
Turn the pillowcase right-side out, stuff your pillow through the flap and enjoy!
