Find out how to make your very own Lemon Kiss below and then prepare to sip in the sun.
Now that spring is officially here, we are celebrating with this lovely lemon libation! This simple spring sip is a refreshing lemonade cocktail with a dash of grapefruit juice to create a pretty pink color. It’s made with fresh lemon and grapefruit juice and sweetened with stevia, a gentle, natural sweetener making it a healthier cocktail. Yay for cocktails light on the waistline!
The Lemon Kiss
|4 ounces fresh lemon juice||2 ounces fresh grapefruit juice|
|10 ounces chilled sparkling wine||12-15 drops liquid stevia|
Juice 3 lemons which yields approx. 4oz of juice. Next juice 1/3 grapefruit which yields approx. 2oz juice.
Pour juice into a pitcher and add the sparkling wine.
Add the drops of stevia and mix well. Note: if you use a sweeter sparkling wine, like a Moscato, you may not need to add stevia or just add less.
Adorn straws with lemon slices.
