Literally the moment I decided I was completely and totally done with winter, this little number landed in my inbox. A winter wonderland party designed for a tiny little lady? How could you argue with that! And if it promises to be this adorable, I suppose the season can stick around for another week or so. Captured by Ardita Kola, there’s more adorable inspiration right here.
When Naia’s mom, my best friend, asked for my help to plan and photograph her first birthday party, not only was I too happy and excited, I was honored. I knew she wanted something special for her little princess and having been born in January the theme of the party was almost too obvious…
Lots and lots of DIY projects together with the beautiful location that they chose all came together into this beautiful, exquisite, whimsical and all around amazing party. The focal point of the party was an amazing dessert table featuring a beautiful winter wonderland cake by Sweet Panache Cakes, two vases with manzanilla branches which we did ourselves, beautiful brush trees in white and blush as well as a multitude of desserts, cake pops and candy. Other highlights included hand stamped and printed stationary, lace wrapped favor boxes, beautiful centerpieces of hydrangeas in birch vases set on burlap runners and accented with pine cones, mason jars and snow flakes.
