Let's be honest, you can't throw a successful Mardi Gras luncheon without a signature cocktail. That is why people go to these things, right? Just me? And, oh, wouldn't you know it, we've got just the thing. Have you ever tried a lillet cocktail? Because it's totally my new favourite thing and I have a feeling you'll be nodding your head right alongside me after just one sip.
Bienville 75 Gin and Lillet Cocktail
|1 oz. Gin||1/2 oz Lillet|
|a dash of lavender syrup||Champagne float|
Pour gin, Lillet and lavender syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
Strain into chilled Champagne flute
Top off glass with a Champagne float
Garnish with lemon twist and dried lavender
