Let’s be honest, you can’t throw a successful Mardi Gras luncheon without a signature cocktail. That is why people go to these things, right? Just me? And, oh, wouldn’t you know it, we’ve got just the thing. Have you ever tried a lillet cocktail? Because it’s totally my new favourite thing and I have a feeling you’ll be nodding your head right alongside me after just one sip.

Bienville 75 Gin and Lillet Cocktail

Serves 1Ingredients
  • 1 oz. Gin
  • 1/2 oz Lillet
  • a dash of lavender syrup
  • Champagne float
  • Lemon twist
  1. Pour gin, Lillet and lavender syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Shake well
  3. Strain into chilled Champagne flute
  4. Top off glass with a Champagne float
  5. Garnish with lemon twist and dried lavender
