Let’s be honest, you can’t throw a successful Mardi Gras luncheon without a signature cocktail. That is why people go to these things, right? Just me? And, oh, wouldn’t you know it, we’ve got just the thing. Have you ever tried a lillet cocktail? Because it’s totally my new favourite thing and I have a feeling you’ll be nodding your head right alongside me after just one sip.

- 1 oz. Gin
- 1/2 oz Lillet
- a dash of lavender syrup
- Champagne float
- Lemon twist
- Pour gin, Lillet and lavender syrup into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Shake well
- Strain into chilled Champagne flute
- Top off glass with a Champagne float
- Garnish with lemon twist and dried lavender
