It’s no secret that I have one of the best jobs on the planet. I mean, when you can make a living off of oogling pretty nurseries and the sweetest baby cheeks that ever lived, you’d better be counting your blessings! And though we’ve featured many an incredible nursery in our day, this one in particular has stolen my heart. Captured by Britney Smith Photography, you can find it all here.
From Britney… I’ve always dreamed of getting to dress a little girl and planning a beautiful neutral nursery with subtle feminine touches. When Jordan and I found out we were having a girl we were ecstatic and quickly began turning my photography office into Nora Jane’s sweet oasis. Repurposing items from big brother’s room, finding perfect pieces at antique stores and adding a few mementos from my childhood all made this the perfect space to bring our little girl home to. Nora made her debut in quite the dramatic fashion and was born in Jordan’s truck on the way to the hospital! She is four months now and I have loved spending countless precious moments rocking and singing to her in this room. It is flooded with so much natural light, which as a photographer I love, and always has a calming effect on her. She has brought us so much joy and I couldn’t imagine life without this amazing little one!
We obviously couldn’t let this post end without pulling together our own sweet shabby-chic inspired nursery. We’ve got everything you’ll need right here, just add baby!
