I’ve always thought that the secret to a successful bash lay within two major categories: a hint of sparkle, and some fabulous things to munch on. If you take a peek through our Party Archives, this theory is proven time and time again. And it’s only further solidified by this incredible black and white shindig. Designed by Lisa Ho and captured to perfection by Laura Clarke, have you ever seen anything lovelier?
From Laura Clarke Photography… I had the chance to photograph this statement birthday party centered around blacks, whites and golds! It was a sight for the eyes (and stomach, if I’m being honest!) Guests were invited to snack on classic desserts and play dress up with accessories from a fabulous jewelry bar. Is there anything better?
From Lisa Ho Studio… This fabulous birthday party was centred around a “jewelry bar” and dessert table. Guests were instructed to wear black and could choose various gold or white accessories from the jewelry bar to dress up their outfits. Desserts were kept simple and stuck with the black, white and gold theme. White sugared donuts, vanilla macarons, and caramel popcorn are party favourites and easy to munch on while celebrating with friends. The birthday girl loves Oreos so it was a must to have an Oreo cake. This cake is as easy as it gets, Oreos were stacked to form the shape of a two-tier cake making it easy for guests to grab one as they wish. And to wash it all down, no Oreo is complete without a glass of milk. To set the stage for the event, birthday stationary from Kate Spade provided a tip to the black, white and gold theme.
