To so many of us bloggers Kate Spade is the epitome of chic. Happy chic really. With gorgeous colors and the designer’s signature dash of bubble and sparkle and everything pretty. So when we saw this Kate Spade inspired Christmas, designed by Angela Marie Events and captured by Lacey Rabalais, we found ourselves only wishing that we were on the guest list too. Oh and there’s more in the gallery.

From Angela … Throwing a holiday party is always fun! Tasty cocktails and a touch of sparkle will always make your party memorable. With a few key ingredients anyone can have a glamorous party for friends and family! With the use of a sequin overlay, emerald glass chargers, and beautifully wrapped ornaments, that was just the start of the many details that made this inspirational shoot glamorous! Krystal Bennett, designer and fashion blogger of A Pinch of Lovely and I teamed up together to bring you a touch of fashion and entertaining style.

Krystal decided to show us two great dresses for any holiday party. She first wore a white and lace dress from Warehouse. She accessorized her cocktail attire with a glamorous necklace from Riffraff, Michael Kors beaded bracelets and Loren Hope bow cuff. Her second cocktail dress was festive and fun in pink and burgundy. She paired this dress with a necklace from Dress and Dwell and mixed her same bracelets.

To make this party complete, I used polka dot Kate Spade glasses with a touch of red tassels. I also mixed gold rimmed china with a chalkboard-feel plate from Target. At each place setting every guest received a Kate Spade rhinestone ornament. The gold mercury glass gave the table the perfect glow.
It’s always a must to serve something sweet with your champagne! Beautiful ornament cookies from Silly Gilly Desserts were served along with a doberge cake from The Ambrosia Bakery- pop, fizz, clink! Cheers to the holidays!

I designed the flowers using a pretty red mercury glass container with peonies, hydrangeas, pepper berries, roses, button poms, seeded eucalyptus, and magnolia leaves. Krystal designed the invitation, menu card, the names that wrapped the mini champagne bottles, and the gift tags. She used a simple modern design that was perfect with the bright colors on the table.

The bar cart, according to SMP Living, is totally back in! The cart was simply styled with fun tumblers from Target, festive stirs, and you can’t forget the candy pecans, ya’ll!

The key is mixing expensive with inexpensive elements to your party. It doesn’t have to be expensive to be glamorous!
