While you may not go to such lengths to decorate your cake on any average day, New Years eve just so happens to make for the perfect excuse to let your inner crafter shine. Transform a simple, ho-hum dessert into a sight for sore eyes with this fabulously, wintry, glittery cake topper! And with just a few steps, we’ll show you how…
4 sheets of 11 x 14” posterboard
“Happy New Year” template
Stack each sheet of posterboard on top of each other. Spray adhesive between each layer to make one extra thick sheet.
Download & print out the “Happy New Year” template. Spray adhesive on the back to attach it to the posterboard. Let dry 5 minutes.
Cut along the outline of each letter with the exacto knife.
Spray the topper with adhesive, leaving the out the bottom section. Sprinkle with glitter and shake off the excess.
Let Let dry for 20 mins then insert into cake.
