You’d think that after all the Thanksgiving posts we featured last week I’d be tired of entertaining ideas. But I’m not. Not by a longshot. ESPECIALLY not when they’re this lovely. Designed and styled by Beehive Events, my only question is where do I sign up? Oh, and there’s a whole lot more in the gallery. Meg Runion really hit it out of the park with this one.
From Beehive Events… What better way to celebrate fall than an elegant dinner party set amidst the fiery leaves and crisp autumn air? With a hickory tree’s yellow branches offering an intimate backdrop, this table positively glows with the lush, sensual colors of the season bathed in an abundance of candlelight. The show-stopping floral centerpiece, spilling over the sides of its woven seagrass compote, is composed from peonies, roses, agonis, scabiosa, persimmons and honeysuckle. The arrangement’s blossoms just barely brush the tall, sand-colored pillar candles set in bark-rimmed wooden coasters; gold filigree votives provide additional candlelight on the table surface. The round farm table, stained a dark walnut and set with Tuscan cross-back chairs, has been set in anticipation of an elegant, seasonal meal with pheasant-motif china, three-face etched stemware, and the designer’s own heirloom silver and linen napkins.
