I recently found myself diving head first into the world of babies from nursery design mania to the cutest little onesies and clothes galore. I seriously didn’t know they could make skinny jeans that small! I’m traversing my way as a first-time mom and the carrier of not one, but two little beans. Yep, I’m having twins – a boy and a girl. I kind of feel like I’ve won the baby lottery.
That’s not to say I’m not up at night googling voc free paints in the perfect shade of minty blue or organic crib sheets that marry cute patterns and eco-friendly functionality. In a nutshell, I’m a design junkie and a new mom-to-be. That combo is kind of lethal. It means wanting to surround my little beans with pieces that are wholesome. Non-toxic is the name of this game. And if you can win the lottery twice, I definitely have with The Honest Company. They understand moms like me that want to only surround their babies with goodness. Pure and simple.
But let’s go back to the really fun part: the nursery. More specifically, the all important changing table. I have a feeling with double the diaper duty I’m going to be spending a lot of time at the changing table so it needs to be functional and look pretty. And fingers crossed, my children will love pastels and gold as much as I do.
Along with all the staples like a really sleek dresser turned diaper command hub, pops of polka dot in the changing pad covers and other such wonderments, are the absolute necessities. The workhorses if you will that will keep babies clean, dry and hopefully diaper rash free. Things like Honest Healing Balm and those crazy cute Honest diapers that also happen to be crafted without harsh chemicals. You better believe whatever is touching those precious little bums needs to be 100% baby friendly. And why settle with white when you can have a peacock feathered tush?
And there you have it, a nursery decked out in cute, modern decor with a layer of safe, mom approved diaper gear from The Honest Company. The only thing missing is someone to help change those cute little babes headed our way. Any volunteers?
