True story: when I was four years old I excitedly agreed to sign up for ballet classes solely because I thought it meant I would get my hands on my very own tutu. Much to my dismay, on my first day of class my ballet teacher handed me a flimsy pink wrap. I vividly remember being completely distraught with my un-tutuesque skirt and, as a result, unwilling to attend future classes. All this to say  that those puffy pink skirts are a really big deal when you’re just a little girl. So whoever came up with the idea of a tutu party (ahem Blue Veil) is a total and utter genius. And my four year old self will be forever jealous. Captured by Sarah Anne, there is lots of adorable pink fun right here in the gallery.

From Sarah Anne… A delightful and sweet Alexis turned 2 this month, and it was such a pleasure to be part of the festivities. Her lovely parents hosted the most darling Tutu party in her honor!

There were tents & tea parties, cupcakes & cotton candy; not to mention adorable goodie bags stuffed to the brim with everything pink! BlueVeil designed the adorable sets for all the party guests to enjoy. Creating a homemade tent draped in gorgeous fabrics and miniature tea party station to name a few.

Complete with a matching spread of pink treats for the guests, this was simply a charming celebration. Homemade cupcakes were done by Alexis’s Mom herself who also wore a cream corset and tutu to coordinate with her beautiful daughter. Add in some lovely pink tissue pom poms, ribbons and balloons; and this was every little girls tutu dreams!
