We’re heading behind the blog with the adorable Bradley from Luella & June this afternoon, and I’m kind of a little over the moon about it. Because Bradley is not only crazy talented, but amazingly sweet, and brilliant to boot. Photographed by Kelsey Foster, her home is a little slice of girly heaven. Check out our fun little interview below, and the rest of her space simply musn’t be missed.

SMP: Some words you live by?
Do what you love, love what you do.

SMP: Any guilty pleasures?
Re-runs of Beverly Hills 90210 and peanut-butter-covered Oreos

SMP: Favorite quote that describes your creative process/ live by?
“Find something you’re passionate about and keep tremendously interested in it.” – Julia Child

SMP: If you could do it all over again, would you change anything?
I hate to have regrets, but I would have changed my major in college. I majored in Communication Studies, and while that was fine, I totally should have been an Art History major. I only chose Communication Studies because I thought it sounded like a more “legitimate” major for getting a job later on. The funny thing is in all of the interviews I’ve had over the years, I’ve only had one person ask me what my major was. The bottom line is that when you’re interviewing for a job, what they really focus on is your work experience, not what you studied in college. My advice: pick something you love to study and learn everything you can about that topic.

SMP: What is one piece of advice you would give a blogger just starting out?
Do you. Don’t try to make your blog like someone else’s. Make it your own.

SMP: What is your favorite item in your home?
My bar cart. It’s such a fun piece. Every hostess needs a great bar cart.

SMP: What’s your best tip for balancing work and personal life?
I’m not sure I’m the best person to answer this one because I’ve not been great about this lately. I do think it’s important to set “rules” for yourself on when your workday ends. For example, I no longer allow myself to bring my laptop into my bedroom. When I do this, I stay up until the wee hours of the night on that thing. I’m only allowed to work from my desk. I also do my best to make Saturday a non-working day. This means no checking emails, no scheduling posts, etc…

SMP: Stranded on a desert island question…what’s the one cocktail you would take with you?
A margarita on the rocks – with salt!

SMP: Color that will stand the test of trend time.
Pink!

SMP: One thing every style savvy homeowner should have?
A collection. It doesn’t matter what it is – coffee table books or vintage glasses – as long as it’s something you really love. Display it in your home. It adds a unique touch and always makes for a conversation starter.
