It happens like clockwork. Early April and I’m suddenly hit with that undeniable urge to clean-all-of-the-things. My windows beg to be flung open, my kitchen scrubbed down, my linen closet pulled apart (just to be put back in a neat and orderly fashion)… I don’t think I’m alone here which is why I’m particularly excited about this fabulous DIY. Homemade linen spray is actually ridiculously easy to make yourself, and will instantly add a heavenly scent of your choosing to any spring cleaning fiestas you’ve got planned this season. Lavender, rose, or jasmine essential oils
To make one 8oz bottle of linen spray, pour 3 oz of the alcohol into a small bowl. Add 30 drops of the essential oil of choice and mix thoroughly- it is important to mix these two first as the oil will mix with the alcohol, but not the water. Add 1.5 cups of distilled water and stir together. Use the funnel to pour the mixture into the plastic bottle.
