When I think of St. Patrick’s day celebrations of years gone by, I can assure you that I do not envision an elegant gathering and a picture-perfect tablescape. If I’m being honest, green beer, live music and a post-celebration headache typically comes to mind. So you can only imagine my shock when this stunning St. Patty’s day inspired event landed itself in my inbox. With nary a green beer in sight, this series of images, captured by Rachael Hall & designed by Sweet August Events, has been a great reminder that even St. Patrick’s day can be executed in serious style. It pained be to have to leave some of the glorious images in the gallery so you should probably check it out right here.

From Rachael… We got to work on this styled shoot based on a few of our favorite things – easy yet beautiful tablescape designs, gold (everything), and the new Pantone color of the year: emerald green. Because March is the month of St. Patrick’s Day, April Weilbacher soon coined the term for the shoot “ Lucky in Love.”

I knew I wanted to feature a venue that was different, filled with tons of character. The Grande Hall at Hofmann Ranch was perfect. Not only were the grounds beautifully and thoughtfully landscaped, Hans Hofmann (the Ranch’s owner) and his family, could not have been more accommodating.

Alison took her calligraphy ideas to the next level and created a laser cut sign based on her drawing that reads “Lucky in Love.” Choosing Fresh Urban Flowers as the florist was a no brainer. All we had to do was give them a color palette and few inspiration photos, and they showed up with the most beautiful arrangements. Both, La Belle Vie, and Bee Lavish rentals were gracious enough to let us pick and choose our favorite items. Lastly, Bethany Boone of Bethany Boone Photography hopped on board. She worked as our model and helped us with the styling. The Indulge Vanity team did a beautiful job on her hair make up, and I pitched in, with my dear Krissy, to captured it all.
