Though it’s quite possible I’m getting ahead of myself, I can’t help but feel that Spring is in the air. As the snow begins to melt and the temperatures start to rise, I find myself dreaming of long, leisurely al fresco lunches surrounded by some of my very favorite ladies. And this stunning outdoor picnic, captured by Samantha from Cmostr Photography, is definitely not helping my case. Click here to see even more!
From Samantha…We wanted to use our surroundings as a backdrop and highlight the beauty of the season. October offers a last chance to dine outdoors before the weather heads south, and we took advantage of that. For this group of girls, a bachelorette party means getting together with your closest friends and doing something you all enjoy. In this case that meant cooking, crafting, eating and laughing! Each girl prepared a dish in a potluck fashion, and included their recipes for the bride to be on note cards from Magpie Paper Works.
The menu also reflected the fall season, with a spread of roasted vegetables and sweet desserts…Oven Roasted Acorn Squash, Blue Cheese Stuffed Mushroom Caps, Parmesan Crusted Salmon with Pan Seared Green Beans and for dessert, Lemon Meringue Pie and Pear Crumb Tarts.
