When I was a little girl, I’d become overjoyed when I was invited to a fellow friends birthday party. The primary reason behind my excitement was typically because I knew I’d be leaving said party with a loot bag. The thought of riffling through my personal bag of treats on the post-party car ride home still brings back fond memories. If I’m being honest, since growing up, not much has changed – party favors still excite me to no end. For our Super Bowl Fiesta, we put together these fabulous margarita favors to hand out to our guests. Beautifully captured by Hello Love Photography, they’re like adult loot bags and I don’t think I’m alone when I say that that’s a wonderful thing.
I know. Believe it or not, it all started with that black and white washi tape. It fit perfectly with our black and white stripe backdrop and we used the tape + the straws to let our imagination run wild. Enter a tiny bottle of tequila and homemade margarita mix and well, I know. It’s just too good to be true. And crazy crazy crazy easy. Which officially makes this the best favor in the history of the world.

Margarita mix labels (Download them here!)
Small key limes (one for each gift)
Black and white stripe paper bags (we got ours at Little Bit of This)
3 cups sugar
3 cups water
3 cups fresh lime juice (about 24-27 large limes)
1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 6-8 lemons)
Step 1: Download and print the Margarita Mix labels onto the tracing paper. Cut out along the gray lines.
Step 2: Tape the labels to the glass jars with the striped washi tape.
Step 3: To make the margarita mix, heat the water in small saucepan on medium heat. Add the sugar and stir until completely dissolved and the water is clear. Let cool
Step 4: Pour the lime juice, lemon juice, & sugar water into a pitcher and mix together. Pour into glass jars.
