Okay, you’ve seen the inspiration board and the invitation sketches and I’m hoping that you love the concept as much as I did. Organic, glamorous, intimate, warm and modern. All wrapped up into one big ball of pretty. Two of the areas that we really wanted to concentrate on for our Surprise Party were the bar area – which would include a fun pink champagne + St. Germain signature cocktail & a splash of that chevron print that we love so much - and the placesettings, ensuring that each seat had the perfect combination of organic glitz. We had Jess, our newest creative genius, draw up some sketches as to we she envisioned it using the stuff we had around the house and a pop of a few DIY projects (which we’ll be sharing tomorrow!) and this is what she came up with…

AND…
So the sketches really proved to be so helpful in envisioning what we needed and limiting waste. Normally, when I throw a party, I buy a bunch of stuff that I end up not using and then forgetting to return. But with this approach – an inspiration board + sketches to lay it all out ahead of time – I really cut down on that unnecessary spending AND was able to fly through set up much faster than usual.
Up next, the party! We’ll be breaking down every last detail, then on Monday, we’ll be sharing the step-by-steps for the cute DIY table risers and gold leaf coasters!
