Any morning that starts off with chocolate is a good morning by us. It’s a love affair that’s been going strong since we were the ripe old age of five and today it’s found its match. These scrumptious musings come courtesy of Hawes Photography who teamed up with Modern Meals for Two for a Banana Chocolate Muffin recipe that Sunday morning dreams are made of. Banana Chocolate Muffins
2 medium or 3 small very ripe bananas
4 Tbsp. butter
¾ cup sugar
¼ tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1½ cups flour
¾ cup chocolate chips
To Make: Preheat oven to 350. Grease muffin tins with cooking spray. In a large bowl, mash bananas. In a small bowl, melt butter. Add butter and sugar to banana and mix with a hand mixer. Sprinkle in salt, baking soda and flour. Beat on low until just combined. Spread ½ cup of chocolate chips on a cutting board and coarsely chop. Add everything from the cutting board and the remaining ¼ cup of whole chips to the batter. Stir until just combined. Divide amongst greased muffin tins, and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden.
Along with a love for breakfast chocolate comes coffee, loads of it. Are you with us? Whether you are an espresso lover through and through or a good old cup of joe is your mode of choice, a great set of tools is key. Consider it your morning workspace and if along the road to latte, you also utilize super cute barista inspired bits and bobbles, then consider that the perfectly whipped foam on top.
