We’re weekend warrioring our way through Sunday but we promise there is absolutely no heavy lifting required (unless you count your big ol’ coffee mug). Instead, we’re going to fill your computer screens with a dash of girly partayin. That’s right, we are dedicating this day to Ladies that Lunch and up first is maybe the most stylish bunch of besties we’ve ever seen. And a Bride-to-be who’s not only the mastermind behind Bespoke Style Studio but also crazy sweet. SHE threw a party for HER bridesmaids and it’s full of bright flowers, awesome dresses and lots of champagne. As all good parties should be. So whether you are planing a Girl’s Night Out, A Lady’s Day In, a Birthday Party, shower, heck even a Just Because Soirée, there’s lots to inspire coming at you right now. Kristen Marie Photography captured all the festivities and you can see them all right here.
A big part of lunching with friends is the fashion. Think summery dresses and big, bright bobbles infused with lady-like glamour. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite pieces that fit that exact bill … now you just need to throw a party and invite all of us SMP ladies. We’ll bring the bubbly!

From the bride of Bespoke Style Studio: I’m always looking for an opportunity to bring my loved ones together for a little celebration and it just so happens that I’m a bride-to-be so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to throw a little party to celebrate and say thank you to my bridesmaids! I mean what could be better than getting your best girlfriends together for an afternoon of cupcakes, champagne and lots and lots of laughs?
Growing up without any sisters, my girlfriends have always been like sisters to me and I consider them part of my family. Each one of my bridesmaids hold a very special place in my heart and represent different chapters of my life…I’ve been friends with Katie since 7th grade when we met playing club volleyball, Courtney, Jana, Rachel and I were all sorority sisters in college, Michelle and I became close friends while living in Seattle after college and Erika is my soon to be sister-in-law! (Erika wasn’t able to make it to the party and was greatly missed but was absolutely there in spirit!).
The idea for this thank you celebration came to life as I’ve been completely overwhelmed by the love and support my bridesmaids have shown throughout the wedding planning process. They’ve always been amazing friends but have absolutely gone above and beyond as bridesmaids! They’ve sacrificed countless hours wedding dress shopping with me, planning my shower and bachelorette party, chatting wedding decor, bridesmaid dress shopping (which happened to be the most ridiculously humid day here in Seattle with no air conditioning so you can only imagine how sweaty and uncomfortable it was trying on countless dresses)! Oh and did I mention I’ve asked them to fly to Colorado in the dead of winter for my actual wedding?? Yes, they truly are amazing and willing to do anything for me! I feel so blessed to have each one in my life so I wanted to do something special to show them how much I appreciate all they’ve done for me and how special they are!
Since I am getting married next winter in the snowy mountains of Colorado, I wanted to do something very summery and bright for the bridesmaid celebration. I focused on bright yellows, pinks, oranges and aqua to create a very bright, bold and cheery overall look. I found most of my inspiration from Style Me Pretty and Pinterest and I purchased most of the items for the event from Etsy and various vintage stores. I also did quite of few DIY projects including creating the bright crepe paper streamer wall, restoring the vintage wooden window pane and printing the invitations and paper items. I had originally planned to hold the celebration outside in a friends gorgeous backyard but Mother Nature had other ideas (low sixties and showers all week!) so we moved indoors to the Trophy Cupcake party room which turned out to be perfect. Nicole and her team from Trophy were a dream to work with and Kristen Marie photography captured the event perfectly. Kristen is such an incredibly talented photographer and has an amazing eye for capturing special moments perfectly!
I feel so lucky to not only be marrying my true love, Adam, this winter but also to have my best friends standing there next to me! My girls mean the world to me and I’m so lucky to have them in my life. Laughing, sharing stories, drinking champagne and eating way too many cupcakes with my best girlfriends was an absolute perfect way to spend an afternoon.
