Although I don’t have a little bundle of my own, I would be lying if I said I haven’t let visions of my dream baby shower dance around in my head a time or two. Well now those dreams are dancing on the screen because this shower captured by MIMMO & CO and designed by Sweet Ensemble is 100% perfection to me. Elegant, layered, white, full of precious details and yummy treats from Pusateri’s Catering - it’s as though they could see my dreams and made them reality, and you can see it all right here.


From Sweet Ensemble…When approached to style this private baby shower, our brief by Pusteri’s Catering was to keep a soft, white and delicate feel, with light tones and props that weren’t gender-specific. We quickly decided that a child’s nursery, with a fairy tale touch, would be a nice theme, and the white palette was neutral enough allowing us to pull delicate details. These elements were also used in the invitations created, and tied into the décor, so guests kept that fairy tale feeling as they arrived. Desserts inspired by this theme were selected and generously set out on the table for all the guests to enjoy. From marshmallow squares in cones, to cookies and milk, and even teddy bear marshmallow popsicles. The delicate white theme carried through the event into the décor with carefully chosen rocking horses, large round white balloons, and event a classic fairy tale book cut to house thoughtful notes from all the guests as a keepsake for the mom-to-be. The printed pieces being mini-books carried the theme well, along with custom wrapped book jackets acting as risers, as finishing touches topped it all off.
