Okay, so this isn’t exactly a wedding. But it was so stinking adorable, I just couldn’t help myself. It was sent to us by Jen Huang, who is an incredible photographer and behind some of SMP’s most popular celebrations (click here and click here for total goodness), and seems to me to be the PERFECT inspiration for an engagement party, a shower, a cute rehearsal dinner or even a sweet, casual wedding! Hosted by Poppies & Posies and Merci New York, and photographed by myself – Jen - this was such a fun little party centered around the idea that we need to kick back and get to know each other a little bit better! Some key details: guests were asked to write their names on chalkboard name tags, there was DIY toast & DIY cupcakes as well as a wine tasting by Swirl Eventss. All the poppies were by Poppies and Posies, in giant mason jars. Favors were colorful lollipops. Everyone was asked to put their business card in a tea tin so that you could take a tin of cards away with you as you left.
