When a Texas soiree is crafted by a handful of vendors with an effortless touch of talent like the following? Pretty things are bound to come our way m’dears. And we have Barbara’s Brides, Bouquets Of Austin, Austin Catering and Marquee Events for starters. It’s a preppy kind of romance, splashed with a hint of rustic and it’s oh-so-good. Nostalgia Film is sharing the sweet film with us and don’t miss the gallery from Diana M. Lott Photography and Stacy Sodolak!
From Nostalgia Film…Mimi and Clint had a beautiful and heartfelt wedding day at Nature’s Point on Lake Travis. Mimi was stunning in her beaded Jenny Packham dress. Their ceremony was humorous and touching, and I literally got chills from their ceremony musicians, Deric Lewis and The Church Choir, who lead the unique processional with “Oh Happy Day” and “All You Need is Love” and the recessional with “Happy” by Pharrel Williams with a dancing wedding party! (Featured in their 20-minute film; the highlight film is below.)
The reception was quite the party with dancing on a patio over Lake Travis fueled by the sounds of Sauce. And one of the most unique takes of the photo booth/sketch booth trend was The Original Butt Sketch artists working the reception!
The day was captured beautifully by Diana M. Lott Photography (and Stacy Sodolak). For cinematography, we (Nostalgia Film, Little Black Book member) captured the day on a combination of Super 8mm film and HD video. It went perfectly thanks to Barbara Hearne of Barbara’s Brides (Little Black Book member as well).
Mimi and Clint’s joy was palpable on their wedding way, and we wish them many, many years wedded bliss!
