If ever wedding I ever go to for the rest of my life could look exactly like this one from Our Labor of Love, I’d be happy forever. Casa De Perrin could keep me always finding something new, and the sweet summertime air under the twinkle lights at dinner time would bring a tear to my eye every single time.
From Mein Schatz Events… Lucas + Koty decided to skip the 200 person fete and opted for a weekend full of good food, good music and good friends instead. A two day event, starting with their rehearsal dinner/concert at the Henry Miller Library. Set amongst the redwoods, friends gathered for a supper club, meets summer camp style party, catered by restauranteurs, Hart and the Hunter. Good friend and musician, David Ford, played an hour long, private concert for the duo and their friends. Followed by dancing the night away to DJ Smiles Davis.
Shifting gears on Saturday, the wedding takes a more elegant turn, with a simple ceremony over looking the pacific ocean, at the elite Anderson Canyon Estate. The Dustbowl Revival played bluegrass tunes while Koty walked down the vintage carpet aisle to meet her groom. Engraved leather escort cards showed guests to their seats at the extra long dinner table, dripping with green garlands and gold flatware.
The couple dined on another meal, catered by the Hart and the Hunter boys, and danced to David Ford for their first dance, under June’s Super Moon. After dinner, the crowd got rowdy, as they moved inside the Anderson House and danced to Smiles Davis’ groovy tunes.
