California has been calling me lately but now, after spending a few hours with this gorgeous soiree from Beaux Arts Photographie, I’ve all but packed my bags and hopped in the car. It’s stunning, thanks to Twine Events, but the thing that takes it to the next level? The daringly beautiful navy gown the bride wore. It’s to die for.
From Twine Events… The cocktail napkin message says it all: Eat, Drink, and Be Married. The couple set out to provide a comforting and beautiful atmosphere. They wanted the ultimate dinner party and to make sure their family and friends were taken care of from beginning to end- drinks to savor, a delicious four course meal, great music (including a mariachi band from their alma mater!), and cake and desserts to complete your foodie heaven.
With kids being a big part of the evening, they didn’t want to leave them out. We put out bean bags for the ceremony and an interactive games and sweets table in the reception. The kids were in awe of the attention geared towards them. They had a blast and areas to call their own.
The bride and her mom have a love for floral, so Kate from Flowerwild was the perfect match. The flowers captured the essence of spring- peonies, heirloom roses, lilac, ranunculus, and wild grasses. After reading The Language of Flowers, the bride included a touch of lily of the valley in her bridal bouquet to signify happiness and sweetness.
With ocean views, a historical malibu setting, and lush garden table settings, the day could not be more picturesque.
