From Sarah Postma Photography… Everything about Sarah and Nate’s downtown Chicago wedding was modern and bright. The fuchsia and orange color palette absolutely glowed from the invitations, designed by the bride’s sister Erin German, to the bouquets and the place settings. Sarah wore a dreamy, champagne-colored, mermaid-cut gown, which was perfected with a cathedral-length veil. The bridesmaids’ bouquets featured fuchsia roses and orange/tangerine tulips — certainly on trend with Pantone’s color of the year! I simply couldn’t get enough when I was photographing all of the modern details at this wedding. Sarah and Nate are truly happy together. Their laughter and joy was evident in every image, and they made my job a true delight from their engagement session all the way to their oh-so-fun reception — such a great party!

One regret that I have with my own wedding is not capturing that engagement glow with my soon to be Mr. Hus. It’s an actual thing, this glow I speak of. From Kristin La Voie Photography… I am SO IN LOVE with the engagement session I did with Amber and Nolan! It took place at Cuneo Mansion and Gardens in Vernon Hills, Illinois. (I love to always add My Best Friend’s Wedding took place there!) I couldn’t have asked for a more adorable, totally in love couple with the PERFECT backdrops! Amber, who originally found me on Style Me Pretty, was a match made in heaven for me.
