From the Bride…When planning our wedding there were 3 things important to us: 1) Family 2) Chicago 3) Blend of cultures. When we entered our wedding venue the morning of our wedding, we felt all three right away. Our breath was taken away by the magical secret garden feel that our decorators delivered on. It truly was our vision heightened to the extreme. Housing a 500 person wedding, we also wanted to make sure we felt it was intimate and reflected our taste. With small details and design work, we think our creative, Brooklyn personalities did prevail. From adding fun facts to our table numbers, to asking our guests questions to put into our guest book, and to the live drummer- we felt like we were able to party in the most beautiful venue on Navy Pier in Chicago just as we would if it were just Ben and I in our living room. We were and still are on top of the world, over the moon and filled with joy.

From the Groom…  When a close friend moves to a new and strange place, you need to pay a visit right away to help them get situated. So I headed up to Bristol, Connecticut to visit my good friend Tim. Along the way I met Pooja. Those eyes caught my attention right away. We merely exchanged a few words, but I knew we would meet again. That night, a fuse was lit that led all the way back to Brooklyn. Before I knew it, we were the best of friends. She laughs at my terrible jokes, she loves when I play drums as loud as I can, she deals with my love for punk rock, she loves Taco Bell, she is an amazing friend, confidant and support system- I think I am the luckiest man alive.
