The English countryside came to the states for this classic celebration held at the Wilder Mansion in Elmhurst, Illinois. From Theresa Scarbrough Photography… Katie met Mike (a UK native) out on the town in London with friends while she was living abroad in England for a year. Their wedding ceremony and reception were held at Wilder Mansion in Elmhurst, Illinois, just outside of Chicago. The ceremony was at the mansion’s lush herb garden, while the reception was held in the luxurious main dining rooms. The simple but very elegant decor and garden ceremony definitely gave the sense of an authentic English garden wedding.
