From Simply Perfect by Melissa… Jessica and Jordan are a sweet couple from the Cincinnati area who planned a Chicago destination wedding. Jessica wanted to add some quintessential Chicago elements while creating a soft, feminine feel with a mix of vintage and contemporary.
Her day started off being pampered and treated like a princess in the famous Princess Diana Suite at The Drake Hotel. The couple tied the knot in a beautiful Catholic Church- Holy Family Parish. Guests were transported around town in trolleys allowing them to take advantage of the sights of Chicago. The 95th Floor of the John Hancock Building at the Signature Room for her reception brought in classic Chicago, along with some skyline touches here and there.
Guests were seated at square tables covered in gunmetal grey with each place setting perfectly set a with beaded charger and ornate silver trimmed plate topped with a personalized round menu, and stemware to match. Her soft floral shades, gorgeous billowing dress, and the overall inviting ambiance of her celebration created a perfect combination bringing her vision to life.

This is absolutely stunning! And can't beat the views... so very "Chicago"!
We were so honored to be part of such a classic, Chicago-style wedding! Thank you so much to Jessica & Jordon for choosing us, Melissa for bringing us on, and SMP Illinois for featuring!!
Thank you so much to Jessica & Jordan, Melissa & her team and all of the fabulous vendors who made this a stunning evening! We are so thrilled you chose to celebrate your big day at The Signature Room! A big thanks to SMP Illinois as well!
Gerber + Scarpelli shot my wedding and they are amazing! Such a wonderful job on this wedding! Love the light!
Thanks for mentioning us. I'm always impressed by the skill and dedication of these vendors.
We are thrilled to be mentioned in this feature!
Jessica gave me the amazing task to create every piece of paper that was tied to the wedding, EVERYTHING was custom. It all started with the foil stamped save the date that set the tone and location with the Chicago Skyline. The invitation was a custom pocket folder with foil stamped and embossed flowers, foil stamped envelope liner, and embossed pocket closer. The reception showcased an acrylic laser cut mirrored seating chart and free standing 1/2" thick acrylic table numbers. The seating chart was illuminated with changing LED lighting. It tied in perfectly with the custom lighting in the room! Each place setting had a foil stamped round menu with each guest's name printed on the bottom. The ceremony program was Jessica's favorite piece: a subtle foil stamping with embossed and foil stamped flowers, bound with ribbon.
It's amazing to have this much fun creating new items with a bonus: making a life long friend!

Mmm, the Signature room at the 59th is definitely a classy venue for a Chicagoland wedding.
