My favorite thing about the south? The weddings. That southern hospitality all intertwined with lace and elegance and a slow kind of love that only the south has perfected. And the tented reception. There isn’t anything quite like the Southern tented reception (especially when Peachtree Tents & Events is involved). Amy Arrington Photography has filled our hearts with joy and our galleries with sweet love.

From the photographer… Taylor + Caroline were married at Burge Plantation on October 12, 2013. Caroline’s two brothers walked her down the aisle and the couple were married outdoors in front of a wooden cross that was decorated with beautiful flowers.

From Holly L Robbins… A very beautiful fall day for one of the sweetest couples I know… Kelly and Will’s Starrsville Plantation wedding had their guests in awe! Their ceremony showcased their love story and had us all in tears (yes, even me!).

Kelly worked especially hard on her DIY projects that made her wedding country chic. She and her bridesmaids rocked cowgirl boots and light teal dresses. Her flowers, a beautiful mix of elegance and whimsy. Kelly and her friends and family transformed the barn by adding decor to every square inch and drenching it with lights.

Such an honor to have been a part of this very special day. Congratulations Kelly and Will!

From Holly L. Robbins Photography, Inc.… Julie met Ty when she was just a little girl while her baby sitter was taking care of her. I think that sentence alone tells you just how far back this story goes!  WAAAAAY back. They have always known each other but Julie and Ty didn’t see each other “that way” until years later.

On June 1, 2013 Julie + Ty surrounded themselves with friends and family and all of their favorite things! A day filled with love, a vintage plate collection, cotton balls, a sneak peek through an old barn wall and passing sweet, sweet notes, sorority sisters and a whole lot of heart melting goodness.
