This gorgeous photo shoot, captured entirely on film by Odalys Mendez Photography, has such a dreamy and romantic feel to it I could seriously stare at it all morning long. The amazing flowers, elegant tablescape and the delicious tower of sugarplums all add to the fabulousness of this photo shoot. We’re loving each and every inch if its organic, rustic vibe! From Odalys Mendez Photography… This styled photo shoot was created around the ancient sport of falconry. We wanted to bring the mystery and beauty of these birds into a setting with a touch of medieval flair. We imagined a lady training her bird of prey in the overgrown fields surrounding her castle, pausing to take a rest in a table beautifully set with silver and wild flowers.
The setting for our photo shoot was the new area of “High Meadows” at the breathtaking Vinewood venue located south of Atlanta. Lush trees amidst fields of tall grass were an idyllic backdrop for the organic theme of the shoot. The flowers by Virtu Floral and Event Design were a juxtaposition of delicate blooms and wild berries picked right from the venue by the florist. Twigs and wildflowers were also incorporated to further enhance the natural, rustic feel of the bouquets, giving them a hand-picked essence. The simple table was set with antique, sterling silver goblets and candelabra worthy of a princess. In lieu of a cake, we chose to display a tower of frosted sugarplums adorned with sprigs of wild berries. The photo shoot was done 100% on film to create a natural, organic, and dream-like palette of colors.
